In Haven the Baron is trying desperately to free his city from the Metal Head threat with the help of Commander Erol's 'Dark Warrior' programme. They will create an army of Dark Lurkers that they are hoping to fight off the Metal Heads with.

But where do Erol's priorities and loyalties lie? He is becoming increasingly obsessed with his unethical projects and spends a lot of time on his own. It seems as well that he has managed to build a relationship with a very hostile, cruel race of beings known as the Dark Makers.

While I am of the opinion that the bible is more metaphor than absolute truth, I have to admit that there are some really cool visuals. Particularily the ones in revelation. One of the many monsters in that particular book is a red beast with seven heads and ten horns ridden by a harlot.

When it comes to the chimera storyline (which actually has very little to do with religion) I like to have wierd monsters. I make up some on my own but I like to take some from actual myths. It just gives them a little more depth, despite the fact that they are all genetically engineered and have no magic involved whatsoever.

So here's one of the big enemies, a seven mouthed monster who can give birth to other monsters (ewwwww...). I'm sorry about the white covering part of her hand. Eventually there will be scenery and stuff in front of it. The actual picture has the pencil sketches of the background, but they're rather messy so I erased them.

This is great. Never thought of it looking that way. Reminds me of Sammael from Hellboy, only far less irritating and far more badass.

Nice biblical adaptation. It's funny how people 'lack inspiration' sometimes when the bible has so much cool artistic themes and creatures in it.
