"I-I'm not even sure if one will show up to the rehearsal, Nanna. Petra tried really hard to get tickets to the main event but they sold out too fast. They only said an Operi might show up." The young man replied. He paused for a moment, hands out and ready to accentuate his speech, but thought better of it and sat on them instead.

In front of the two viewers the orchestra warmed up. No drums were present for the performance, only woodwinds and strings.

"Well I still appreciate it. I'm going to die soon you know."

The Goddess V2.0by *turbofanatic

The Dragon Goddess? Yes, I knew her. We all did, turns and turns ago. Desert folk like me live longer than you smooth skinned artisans. Come, sit, let me tell you about her before my bones return to Samet.

I weep for our children, that they will never see her carve paths through the glaciers, or walk alongside stormclouds and flick apart tornadoes with her tail. She was power and beauty and awe, but she was also wisdom.

She told us stories you know? She was always busy but made time for stories. Would you like to hear one? Never mind, I am old and you will indulge my nostalgia.

There were other Goddesses, out in the stars during the old days. They carved and shaped whole worlds, wove space like threads in a loom, made music out of suns and walked to the edge of the universe. Then golden hooks pierced into the stars and carried them off. Few escaped, our Dragon Goddess being one.

Can you imagine!? Something carrying off our Goddess? But that was her lesson, to never grow proud. We must always keep our wits and our doubts. Otherwise we will grow weak and die again. The hooks will come, and there are many hooks.

Now let me sleep. Nebet make me and Samet take me, I'm too old for this.

Um. Dude. It was edited for better color and composition.
And is a dick dragon really the weirdest thing in my gallery? Have you looked at my gallery? Do you really think I would be disinclined to drawing such a thing?

I'm not trying to stop you from drawing anything, just pointing that out. Your gallery is amazing, and for me the weird shit is the good shit. I guess there was some stray homophobia running around when i made that comment

anyway, it's an extremely well done piece, and your dragons look badass. this one just happens to look like a beef truncheon to me.
